It has worked great for me so far (it’s been like this since December of 2020) and I even passed police officers going up/down the road with no issues. Took about 15 mins to make sure I was centered on the car, and with a little patience getting the zip ties through the holes, violá! It was done. I don’t have the front motion detector camera down there so for me it was a no brainer. Either way what I ended up doing was zip-tying the license plate up against the plastic where the tow hooks are. Plus I preferred the look of the car without having the front bracket on it, looks a lot cleaner to me. Unfortunately, here in NJ it’s required you have a front license plate, so I looked into getting a front license plate bracket but didn’t feel comfortable drilling the holes into the bumper nor going to the stealership to get it done there. Then states where the front plate is required, they put the bracket on, the mounting screws go into the bumper through the small dimples. So when I got the car I never got the bracket holder for it.
